One
of most fabulous and spectacular fort of India, Jaigarh fort
[Victory fort] located on top of hill known as Cheel Ka Teela
just about 15 km from the Jaipur the capital city of
Rajasthan. This fort which was built between 15th and 18th
century is known for the world's largest cannon. The
construction of this fort is not as artistic as other
Rajasthan forts are but this might be due to reason of that
this fort was constructed to protect Jaipur city and
Amber fort which is located about
400 feet below this fort. Jaygad fort is also worth to visit
for the rainwater harvesting system, which compromised by many
wide water channels and three underground tanks with huge
water storing capacity. Visitors have to pay nominal entrance
fees for visiting this fort.
