Most parts of this 1550 AD constructed fort are ruins but Shiv
Ganga Garden which is situated inside the fort walls is the
prime tourist attraction.
this is most common popular belief that Nayak king Vijay
Raghav started constricting this fort , which was completed by
the Maratha rulers , when took control of the region sometime
around 1550 AD.
As the fort is just 2km from the famous Big temple of
Bhubaneshwar hence visit to this picturesque place is bonus
for the tourists.
